I started face painting a couple of years ago as a volunteer at my local school district. People really liked my work and I ended up being one of the last stands to stay open that day. When I saw how happy it made all the kids to get their faces painted I decided that might be something I could get into because it didn’t even feel like work!
I decided to open up a donation-based stand of my own which I started last summer in front of Over the Bar in North Park. Since then, I also started to experiment with Henna and now offer that service in addition to traditional face painting.
